29 of the Act? What college?
I'll be a junior in high school and scored a 27 in the Act, the first time they have given and time of 29 next. I have the intention to avoid returning to seek a higher score. I have a GPA of 3.9 and my class rank is 64/720. I am involved in Spanish club the debate, national honor society, the 9th grade student council, and I was editor of my copy of the book to the 9th grade. I volunteer as tutors. I work in winter a flower shop and summer, I am a tennis coach. I'll have seven AP classes at the time I graduated and many honors classes. I have the intention to apply to Cornell, Michigan State, University of Michigan, University of New York, the University of Wisconsin, and Northwest. It would also apply to the British and Brown, but these schools are more of a stretch I think. You think I'm able to get into these schools? My 4.0 GPA can go at the time of my studies.
You have time scores you have to do for a shot at Cornell, Northwestern, Brown and Columbia. 33 or 34 is needed for a good shot at the last twwo without a hook, and 31/32 for the old. Remember, half the class at the university hooks: recruitment athletes, legacies, minorities, rich, famous and connected. The other half is more than statistics published media. If you have not tried the SAT, try them, many do better on one than the other. The rest looks good with the degrees of intensity results. Good luck!
